191288D-02 NI PXI-4224 is an 8-channel isolated DAQ device from National Instruments. The PXI-4224 is a channel-to-channel isolated Analog Input Module with built-in signal conditioning, making it ideal for a wide range of applications including isolated thermocouple measurements, multichannel data logging, and fuel cell and battery testing. It provides 60 VDC (42 Vrms) CAT I channel-to-channel isolation and programmable gain settings per channel for maximum measurement accuracy. The included NI-DAQmx driver simplifies hardware configuration and measurement automation. The connection interface consists of a 25-pin D-SUB connector and one SMB connector, which can be programmed as a PFI 0 line or for external calibration. To connect a signal source to the PXI-4224, use a TB-2725 terminal block designed for the module or a 25-pin D-SUB connector. Ground-referenced signals are connected to the appropriate channels, with shielding recommended to reduce noise. The PXI-4224 is now considered obsolete by National Instruments, but it can still be purchased and repaired through Apex Waves.
