Description

The 186336F-01 SCXI-1540 8 ch LVDT Module from National Instruments is specifically designed for transformer-based ratiometric position sensors such as LVDTs, RVDTs, and resolvers, featuring fast analog input scanning rates in an SCXI system. Autocalibration and channel configuration settings can be easily adjusted using NI-DAQ or LabVIEW VI, making this module a versatile option for data acquisition needs.

The 186336F-01 SCXI-1540 8 ch LVDT Module from National Instruments, also known as the SCXI-1540 LVDT Input Module, is designed for measuring signals from transformer-based ratiometric position sensors such as LVDTs, RVDTs, and resolvers. With 4 and 5-wire connections for LVDTs and RVDTs, this module can scan analog input channels at rates as fast as 333 kS/s in an SCXI system. The module features a random scanning function, allowing users to select specific channels for data acquisition. Autocalibration can be performed using NI-DAQ or LabVIEW VI without the need for external hardware, with correction constants saved in EEPROMs on each module. Gain, level, wire mode, and frequency settings can be configured for each channel without the use of jumpers. The SCXI-1540 may be obsolete, but can still be purchased and repaired through Apex Waves.
