The part number 184522A-01 refers to the National Instruments FP-TC-120 Thermocouple Input Module. This module is designed with 8 input channels and features cold-junction compensation, built-in linearization, and open-thermocouple detection for eight thermocouple types. Equipped with a Delta-sigma ADC type with 16-bit resolution, the FP-TC-120 has four voltage ranges and differential input channels updated at 1.13 s. It provides temperature readings in ranges from -454 to 3,218 °F, 0 to 2,048 K, and -270 to 1,770 °C, with filtering against 50 Hz and 60 Hz noise. Operating within a broad temperature range of -40 to 70 °C, the FP-TC-120 consumes around 350 mW of power and weighs 4.8 oz. Calibrations are recommended annually or every two years, with options available through Apex Waves for NIST accredited calibrations. Contact us for more information on calibrating the FP-TC-120!
