The part named 181690-01, also known as the National Instruments SCXI-1100 Voltage Input Module (Part Number: 776572-00), is a 32-channel multiplexer amplifier designed for signal conditioning of millivolt, volt, and current signals. This module offers multiplexed channels with several gain ranges and a selectable 4 Hz low pass filter. The channels are consolidated into one channel of a controlling DAQ instrument, providing a higher number of channels for the system. With shielded terminal blocks for easy signal attachment and a temperature sensor for cold-junction compensation of thermocouples, the SCXI-1100 is a versatile option. It is compatible with NI MIO boards and various terminal block options, such as rack-mounted, thermocouple plugs, screw terminals, and BNC connectors. The module's physical dimensions are 1.2 x 6.8 x 8.0 inches, and it has a recommended operating temperature range of 0° to 50° C. Although the SCXI-1100 has been deemed obsolete by National Instruments, it is still available for purchase and repairs through Apex Waves. Calibration services are also offered for the SCXI-1100 to ensure accuracy, with options for NIST accredited calibrations or in-house calibration to manufacturer specifications. Contact Apex Waves for more information on calibrating the SCXI-1100!
