The 149021E-03L PXIe-5831 mmWave VST from National Instruments is a versatile Vector Signal Transceiver featuring FPGA-based real-time signal control and 1 GHz bandwidth. This system is designed to support production test and validation into mmWave bands and a variety of wireless and cellular standards, including 5G New Radio and Wi-Fi 6.

149021E-03L PXIe-5831 mmWave VST - IF National Instruments PXIe-5831 PXI Vector Signal Transceiver Featured with FPGA based real-time signal control and 1 GHz bandwidth, the NI PXIe-5831 (Part Numbers: 786853-01 and 786856-01) is a Vector Signal Transceiver for PXI systems. This PXI Vector Signal Transceiver has the capability to support production test and validation into mmWave bands. The NI PXIe-5831 comprises the PXIe-5653 RF Analog Signal Generator, PXIe-5820 Vector Signal Transceiver, and PXIe-3622 Vector Signal Up/Down Converter. The fast measurement speed makes it an ideal solution for both the production floor and laboratory. The National Instruments PXIe-5831 PXI Vector Signal Transceiver can not only test 5G New Radio, but it can also be used in testing across a variety of wireless and cellular standards including Wi-Fi 6. There are two possible formations of the NI PXIe-5831, since you can customize this system for millimeter-wave frequencies and intermediate frequency. For intermediate frequency, the PXIe-5831 includes a vector signal transceiver and a vector signal up/down converter. For millimeter-wave frequencies, the NI PXIe-5831 should contain a vector signal transceiver, an analog signal generator, one or two millimeter-wave radio heads, and a vector signal up/down converter. Thus, the PXIe-5831 represents a package of multiple instruments and is not just a single instrument. Moreover, you will require a PXI Express chassis and a PXI Express embedded controller to get this system up and running. National Instruments recommends using the PXIe-1092 or PXIe-1095 chassis for this Vector Signal Transceiver. The module included in this system can be deployed in PXI Express hybrid slots, PXI Express system timing slots, or PXI Express peripheral lots. This PXI Vector Signal Transceiver is designed to work in a frequency range of 5 to 21 GHz. PXIe-5831 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Transceiver will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
