Description

The VXI-PCI8015 is a model of data acquisition card manufactured by National Instruments. It is known for its high performance and reliability in the industry. One important aspect of this model is its part numbers, which are 777119-02 and 777119-32. These part numbers uniquely identify the specific configuration and version of the card, allowing for easy identification and compatibility verification during installation or replacement. The interface type of the VXI-PCI8015 is VXIbus. VXIbus is a widely-used modular instrument technology that provides a standard platform for testing and control systems. The VXIbus interface allows for easy integration and communication with other VXIbus-compatible devices, enabling seamless interaction in a testing or control environment. The VXI-PCI8015 utilizes a combination of two bus technologies - MXI-2 and PCI. MXI-2 is an extension bus that allows for remote control and communication between devices located in different physical locations. This enables flexibility and convenience in system configuration, as devices can be placed in separate locations while still being interconnected. The PCI bus technology ensures reliable, high-speed data transfer between the VXI-PCI8015 card and the computer it is connected to. In terms of data transfer rates, the VXI-PCI8015 offers impressive performance. It delivers a maximum transfer rate of 33 MB/sec in burst mode, allowing for quick data transfer in high-demand scenarios. In sustained mode, the card achieves a transfer rate of 23 MB/sec, ensuring consistent and stable data transmission over an extended period of time. These fast transfer rates contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of data acquisition and control operations. In summary, the VXI-PCI8015 by National Instruments is a high-quality data acquisition card that offers excellent performance and reliability. With its VXIbus interface type, MXI-2 and PCI bus technologies, and impressive transfer rates, it proves to be a versatile and efficient solution for various testing and control applications.
