Description
1.89E-13, also known as the National Instruments PXI-5441 PXI Waveform Generator, is a high-speed instrument capable of downloading waveforms at speeds up to 100 MB/s. With features like Synchronization and Memory Core (SMC) architecture and onboard signal processing (OSP), it offers precise signal control and flexibility for complex test frameworks.
1.89E-13 is the National Instruments PXI-5441 PXI Waveform Generator, known by part numbers 779058-02, 779058-03, 779058-04, and 191789A-04. This advanced instrument allows for downloading waveforms at speeds up to 100 MB/s, significantly faster than traditional GPIB-based instruments. With the Synchronization and Memory Core (SMC) architecture, users can create mixed signal test frameworks by synchronizing the generator with digitizers and digital waveform generator/analyzers. Multiple generators can also be synchronized to form a phase coherent multi-channel generator for producing I/Q signals for applications like MIMO or beam-shaping radio wire schemes. The PXI-5441 comes in three configurations with varying memory sizes: 32 MB, 256 MB, and 512 MB. Additionally, this Waveform Generator features an onboard signal processing (OSP) function that extends waveform playback time and reduces the time needed to calculate and download waveform data. The PXI-5441 can generate various standard and user-defined waveforms, with adjustable frequency and phase settings for precise signal control. Despite its Mature Status announcement by National Instruments, the PXI-5441 will still be available for purchase and repairs through suppliers like Apex Waves.
