780683-02 NI PCI-8512/2, CAN Interface, High-Speed/FD, 2 Port National Instruments PCI-8512 CAN Interface Device is a high-performance CAN Interface Device designed for developing applications with the NI-XNET driver. It is ideal for applications that require real-time, high-speed manipulation of numerous CAN frames and signals, such as quick control prototyping, automation control, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, and bus monitoring. This CAN Interface Device features a flexible data-rate and high-speed CAN physical layer, with the TJA1041 transceiver. It has a minimum baud rate of 40 kbits/s, a maximum baud rate of 8 Mbit/s, one port, and does not have an external sync connector. The NI PCI-8512 requires a cable and a connector block for operation. The included software consists of the NI-XNET driver and API, NI-XNET Bus Monitor, and NI-XNET Database Editor. The NI-XNET API provides function calls in C/C++, LabVIEW, and LabWindows/CVI, enabling easy communication with LIN, CAN, and FlexRay signals. The NI-XNET Bus Monitor allows for sending test frames, measuring bus load, and mapping frames to database names. Additionally, the NI-XNET Database Editor is a handy tool for creating and managing embedded network databases.

Shipping Options:
Next Day Air Early AM - This service is the fastest overnight delivery option available. For most locations the package will be guaranteed by 8:30AM.
Next Day Air – This service guarantees delivery by 10:30AM and is the most frequently used option for overnight shipments.
Next Day Air Saver – This cost saving overnight alternative guarantees delivery by 3PM the next day.
2nd Day Air – For domestic shipments that would take 3-5 days if shipped via Ground, sometimes having the order in 2 days is a great way to go
Ground – Ground is the most inexpensive shipping option provided. Please ask if we are doing a “free domestic ground” shipping promotion on your order. We often provide free ground shipping on larger orders.
Emergency Courier – At times we can help work with a courier service to get the part to your facility during downtimes scenarios. We prefer that the customer sets up the courier but we can be there to make sure the product is handed off to the driver. Please give us a call to see if this is an option on your order.
